African Print Cake – For the love of art<3

Holla!!!

As I’m sure is the case for a lot of folks, the month of February made me ponder the concept of love in all its forms quite a bit. In particular what I love, what makes me happy, who I love and who loves me. As I mentioned in my recent posts, I’m February’s host for Our Growing Edge and my chosen theme is Love in all its forms (Original I know 🙂 ). Naturally my post for the link up event had to fit in with the theme I chose. Cue the question – what the heck am I going to write about????

I’m enrolled on WordPress’ “Blogging101” course which recently encouraged us to revisit the “why” behind our blogs. For me, the ultimate question is why do I bake? The answer (drumrolls please!!!) lies simply in the fact that I do it for the art. I love the artistry of cake decorating. The cake is my canvas one could say.

So with this discovery in mind, I present to you my latest design. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while and a project I’ve been working on. This post has no how-tos or experience recap just a simple call to enjoy the artistry of the cake. Of course if you’re interested in the how tos or process recap I’d be happy to oblige 😉

Enjoy!

This post is part of the monthly link up party Our Growing Edge. This event aims to connect food bloggers and inspire us to try new things. This month is hosted by Me 🙂

Until next time… have a Good Cake Day!!!

XOXO
